London, Nov. 1, 2018 – PremFina Ltd (“PremFina” or “the Company”), the U.K.’s digital platform for premium finance, bolstered its Client Services team to assist the Company’s rapid growth. The team manages insurance broker, Managing General Agent (MGA) and insurance company accounts.
Led by Moira O’Connell, it includes six staff in London and an external service provider for overflow and out-of-hours support. O’Connell was previously the Head of Operations at the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) premium finance division, RBS Finsure. Prior to that, she was the Team Leader at RBS Insurance, where she was instrumental in setting up the NIG Direct Debit scheme.
New team members include Jeff Abrahams, who previously held the position of Sales Manager at Close Brothers Premium Finance. Other hires include a new broker trainer, account management and support staff.
While the number of its insurance intermediary clients have increased 20x over the past year, PremFina only needed to double its staff strength to cope with this growth. That’s because its proprietary scalable software, which automates many back-office functions such as customer onboarding and account maintenance, greatly reduces the need for human involvement and related headcount.

The doubling of the Client Services team will complement the new hires in IT, marketing and sales to cope with surging demand for PremFina’s financing and Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
PremFina recently hired a new Chief Technology Officer and won “Best Use of Technology for Customer Experience – B2B.” It will be present at the Nov. 1 Broker Expo event in Coventry at Stand 32.
